Kyle Busch- Taking NASCAR by Storm!

Kyle has been taking the NASCAR world by storm recently and was just voted the second-quarter 2008 Driver of the Year, repeating his victory in the first quarter voting.

NASCAR tried to crash the Kyle Busch party this week and implemented a mid-week rule change, aimed at trimming back horsepower for all Toyota teams in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. What everyone didn’t know is that all that power was hurting Kyle Busch and causing him to lose traction in the corners. So without all that excess wheel spin “Rowdy” was able to hook up to the asphalt and sling himself around the track and lead 197 of the 200 total laps of the race. Taking the checked flag this weekend wasn’t enough for Kyle though. He also broke two records by winning at Indianapolis this weekend. The first was the most laps led at the Kroger 200 in Indianapolis and the second, and most important, was that he has become the first driver to capture 15 victories in one season across all the NASCAR series.
